The Knavesmire (York Racecourse) is at the top of Bishopthorpe Road, just a short walk from the house.

The property itself is a charming and spacious Victorian terraced house which has been fully refurbished yet retains many period features.
The living room is stylish and homely with striking interior design. Light floods in from the large bay window, complete with plantation shutters, creating a tranquil space. The fireplace with log burner offers a real home-from-home cosy atmosphere in the colder winter months. Relax on the comfortable sofas after a long day exploring. Get lost in a good book or switch on the smart TV or listen to your favourite music.
The dining room has a trendy circular black metal table and 6 comfortable leather dining chairs, a great spot for friends or family to gather over a meal together. A large contemporary glass door leads from here out into a pretty private courtyard which benefits from the mid afternoon and evening sunshine.
The kitchen is well-equipped with modern appliances including electric oven, gas hob, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, kettle and Dolce Gusto coffee machine. The adjoining utility space has a large fridge-freezer and washing machine. This area leads on through to the second toilet and wash room.
Upstairs there are two beautiful kingsize bedrooms, offering supreme comfort. The luxury family bathroom offers a large free-standing bath and separate shower cubicle. Fluffy towels and quality toiletries are provided.

York Station is easily walkable or a very short taxi journey if you have luggage.
